National Wildlife Refuge,
I was treated to some nice surprises!

fascinating predatory songbird

Blizzard of Snow
and Greater White-fronted Geese

Sandhill Cranes
with the landing gear down


The big white bird
is an extremely endangered Whooping Crane

of only 193 adults in the only migrating Whooping Crane population
