It was cold, but it was worth it. Last
night was the peak of the 2004 Geminid meteor shower. Long
exposures can help, but it still takes a fair bit of luck to
capture one of these fleeting fireballs. |

It was short and
sweet, but I captured the quick flash of this bright Geminid
meteor in the Big Dipper

The longer you
"look" the more stars you see...there is a faint Geminid hidden in
these stars of Orion
